2,000 Mile Underground

TSIL436 = The Secret in Locker 436

The super-cellar in The Secret in Locker 436 is ginormous.  But other undergrounds are, too.

Since starting operation in 1905, the El Teniente mine south of Santiago, Chile, has become deeper and wider by the year.

Located in the Andes mountain range, the world’s largest copper mine has nearly 2,000 miles of underground tunnels and almost 1,000 miles of underground roads.

Perhaps in TSIL436 book II (“Blood Chit – Bills Come Due”) Ali, Ruthie, Bogart and Cho will find their way to El Teniente.
